Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team covering Liverpool and Merseyside.

The role involves a mix of electrical fault finding, emergency callouts, testing, certification, remedial works, installations and customer-facing repair work. It suits an electrician who can attend appointments independently, diagnose faults clearly, and complete work to a high standard.

Working pattern

Full-time field-based role with customer appointments, testing, remedial works and call-outs where required.

Education requirements

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, AM2 and 18th Edition qualification.

Experience requirements

Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience working directly with customers.

  • Emergency callouts.
  • Consumer unit replacements.
  • EICRs.
  • Landlord certificates.
  • Minor and major remedial works.
  • Lighting installations.
  • Socket installations.
  • Cooker and appliance circuits.
  • Electric shower installations.
  • Smoke and heat alarm installations.
  • EV charger installations.
  • Full and partial rewires.
  • Commercial maintenance and repair work.
  • Small commercial installations.
  • Customer quotations and recommendations where required.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
  • AM2.
  • 18th Edition (BS 7671).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience working directly with customers.
  • Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs independently.

Desirable experience

  • Inspection and Testing (2391 or equivalent).
  • EV charger installation experience.
  • Experience producing EICRs.
  • Experience with landlord compliance work.
  • Experience with commercial installations.
